After finishing your cruise on Ha Long Bay, return to Hanoi and catch the overnight train to Lao Cai. In Sapa, you can relax in the cool mountain air for two days, or challenge yourself by climbing Fansipan – the 3,143m high peak once known as the “Roof of Indochina”.

For the final three days, you can choose to explore the remote mountains around Ha Giang or experience the legendary Thong Nhat train to Central Vietnam, where you will wander through the ancient Hue Citadel and the colorful merchant warehouses of Hoi An.

Day 9-10: Great ending in Nha Trang

From Hoi An, take the train to Nha Trang Station to come seaside city to enjoy the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam.
