The two most popular tour packages of Hon Tam are Seaday 560,000 copper and Mud bath 550,000 copper includes:

• Visit Nha Trang Bay by 45-seat speedboat

• Sea bath/or Mud bath

• Go to the island

• Lunch

• Swimming pool

Thap Ba Mud Bath : 220,000 VND not including lunch

I-resort mud bath: 425,000 VND including lunch

Amiana mud bath: 700,000 VND, free 01 drink, not including meals

For the Seaday tour package of 560,000 VND, I am very satisfied with the beach and all the amenities: swimming pool, waterfall, cool umbrella system, loungers, floating buoys, free kayaks. All are equipped according to the resort's standards. Besides the ticket price, you do not have to pay any additional fees like "surcharges" like other places.

I was a bit surprised when I went to Hon Mun (2019) and had to rent a lounge chair for 20,000/person and a tent for 200,000 for 4 people.

Overview of prices and what you will receive. The price of the Hon Tam tour package, in my opinion, is a good price. You can go to the island, eat, check-in comfortably, and eat your fill.

[Hon Tam Review] About scale

Island resorts in Nha Trang, besides Vinpearlland, there is only Hon Tam. Six Senses can be mentioned, however, this is a resort purely for accommodation and does not have a daily tour package. Compared to other places in the Nha Trang island tour chain: Hon Mun, Hon Mot, San Ho Bay, Bai Tranh, Hon Mieu, Lang Chai, Robinson. MerPerle Hon Tam is still superior in scale and class.

Only Vinpearl and Hon Tam remain in the island tour competition. While Vinpearl is superior in scale and variety of games, Hon Tam is gentler and quieter. Because Vinpearl is larger, walking is quite tiring and many people can only participate in a few small areas because they cannot stand the sun and walking. Anyway, I still think Vinpearl is worth going and must go if it is your first time in Nha Trang.

After finishing the mud bath, move up to the Jacuzzi pool to enjoy a nice bath. This pool is beautifully designed, with a circular jet system as you can see in the picture. This place is very cool so especially the kids love it, the ladies who are shy about dark skin also like this place very much. In addition, with lots of loungers around the pool, it's great to lie down and relax after eating.

The waterfall is the highlight of the mud bath area. Although it is an artificial waterfall, it looks very natural and absolutely beautiful. Standing at the waterfall, you can see the whole mud bath area and further away, Nha Trang Bay in front of you. Sitting under the waterfall to be splashed with water from above is really enjoyable. However, the waterfall is probably suitable for young people but not suitable for the elderly and children because of its height and it is quite easy to fall.

Admin thinks that there is not much difference in the target audience between the above mentioned places. Most of Hon Tam's service packages are designed so that everyone can participate, from children to the elderly.

With a shuttle frequency of 1 hour/trip, I think you can go to Hon Tam at any time, without being constrained by time. In terms of convenience, I think it is only behind Vinpearl when they have a continuous cable car.

There are certainly downsides to every advantage.

Uneven meal quality

Many customers praised the deliciousness but some also complained about the Set Menu lunch at Hon Tam. I myself saw this quite clearly. The food was often cold and the preparation was not very special. The 2/9 holiday at Hon Tam this year was quite bustling. I arrived at Hon Viet restaurant around 12 o'clock, there were almost no empty seats but finding a place to sit was not too difficult.

The food was distributed so that everyone had enough to eat. The only thing that was a bit regretful was that the clams were not cooked well enough and there was a lot of sand in them, so I couldn’t eat them. But when I looked at some of the tables around me, I saw that there were only shells left, which meant that everyone had finished eating. Maybe only a few of the clams had sand left, not all of them.

There is no soup on the menu today, but in fact there is a service. Maybe the kitchen has a promotion because there are customers?! However, I don't think this dish is very delicious, just edible.

Buffet or not Buffet

This is what often happens in the days after the first wave of Covid-19. With the Seaday package, most of the agency's news sites and tour sales sites list buffet, but sometimes there is a buffet, sometimes there is a set menu. The reason given by Hon Tam tourist area is that if the number of guests is not enough to implement the buffet (from 50), it will be replaced with a set menu. Many customers who were looking forward to an island trip with a buffet were disappointed.

No swimming

The Hon Tam mud bath tour package does not include swimming in the sea. Some guests who went on the Hon Tam tour reviewed this and found it quite regrettable. Many people did not receive full information about the tour when buying tickets, so they still thought they would have swimming in the sea (because Hon Tam sea is so beautiful), so when they arrived, they were confused and a bit dissatisfied! [Hon Tam Review] Mud bath tour: Summary.

Hon Tam Mud Bath Tour, although there are still some unsatisfactory things such as food, no swimming in the sea which is regrettable, but the number of customers search and check-in “huge” shows that this is a tour package with great appeal of MerPerle Hon Tam tourist area. Especially, with the price of only 360,000 VND (promotional price) but enjoying so many benefits, it is probably a rare opportunity.
